Terms of use

These are the rules for using Yigo. By using Yigo, you agree to them. We’ve kept them short and in plain words. If anything is unclear, email us.
What Yigo is
Yigo is a free search engine that helps you find 3D printable models published on other websites. Yigo doesn’t host, sell or hand out model files. Every result links to the model’s own page, and that site’s own terms apply there.
Models belong to their designers
- Every model belongs to the person who designed it and is shared under the license they chose on the model’s site. Some licenses don’t allow selling prints or changing the model. Check the license on the model’s page before you print, share or sell anything.
- Yigo shows only a model’s title, tags, picture and link, and where its site publishes them, its price (free or paid), publish date and number of likes, to help you find it.
- Site names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to say where a result comes from.
The feed, “For you” and favorites
- Yigo chooses and orders models automatically, by fixed rules (no AI), using how popular a model is on its own site and, if personalization is on, what you’ve done on Yigo in this browser. Nobody pays to be shown. A model being shown, recommended or placed first isn’t a recommendation from us, and doesn’t mean it’s good, safe to use or licensed the way you need.
- You can turn personalization off, or delete what Yigo has learned, at any time on the Favorites page. How it works is explained in the privacy policy.
- Favorites and what Yigo learns are kept only in your browser. If you clear this site’s data or use another device, they’re gone, and we can’t bring them back.
- Likes are counted by each model’s own site, not by Yigo.
The Convert page
- Use only 3D files you’re allowed to use. Converting a model to another format doesn’t change who owns it: its designer’s license still applies.
- Files are converted as they are. Check a model before you print it: its size, and that its walls are thick enough for your printer.
- Everything happens in your browser, so Yigo never sees your files, and can’t recover them.
Using Yigo fairly
AI assistants, apps and other programs are welcome to search Yigo for the people using them, as llms.txt explains, as long as they send people to each model’s own page.
Please don’t:
- copy Yigo’s results in bulk with automated tools;
- send so many requests that Yigo slows down for everyone else (Yigo limits how fast anyone can search);
- try to break into, overload or disrupt Yigo or its admin panel;
- use Yigo for anything against the law.
No guarantees
- Yigo is free and provided as it is. We work hard to make it useful, but we can’t promise that results are complete or correct, or that Yigo is always available.
- Models, pictures and pages on other sites can change or disappear at any time. We aren’t responsible for other websites, what they show, or files you download from them.
- Printed parts can break. Don’t rely on a printed part where its failure could hurt someone or damage something.
- As far as the law allows, Yigo and the people who run it aren’t responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using Yigo or the sites it links to.
Removing a model
If a model shouldn’t be on Yigo, email the link to yigo@kvchub.com. We’ll remove it and stop it from being added again. Site owners can also keep YigoBot, Yigo’s crawler, away with robots.txt, as explained in the notes for site owners.
Privacy
How Yigo handles information is explained in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using Yigo after a change, the new terms apply.
